Last weekend, I got to spend a fun and pampering day at beautiful Hotel Vejlefjord. I had never been before, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. 😍

The hotel is located a little outside Vejle in the most beautiful surroundings; basically surrounded by forest and overlooking the fjord, which gives you the feeling of being far away from the city's hustle and bustle. For me, this is definitely needed from time to time in order to wind down completely and really recharge my batteries. 😊

We were invited for a cozy dinner, which took place in the hotel's 'Kongesalen', that - with its large panoramic windows as you see above - provided a perfect view of the hotel's beautiful park as well as the fjord.

The beginning of Vejle Fjord dates back more than a hundred years, and that is also evident from most of the hotel's interior design and decorations - especially in the old building - which is really charming and has a calm, welcoming atmosphere that almost instantly makes you relax and feel at home.

Also, nature around here is just amazing and really invites you to go for a stroll in the park or in the woods, which are absolutely stunning during this time of the year with its beautiful fall colors. 🍂

// In my favorite element, nature. 🌾

If you feel like it, you can venture a little further and visit the nearby beach with the cutest little lighthouse, 'Træskohage'.

To me, there'e nothing more relaxing and mindful than a walk by the sea on the beach... and having cute little animals around me ofc. 🐴😍

After our morning walk, followed by a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we headed for the spa, which is quite impressive at Vejlefjord.

Here you'll fnd both The Thermal Baths - which offers seven different baths as well as saunas and steam rooms - and the Thalasso spa - which essentially is a salt bath - as well as a range of different luxurious spa treatments.

The Thalasso spa salt bath is rich in mineral salts like calcium, magnesium and iodine, which are all highly needed by the body - especially during busy periods, where we might not necessarily get enough sleep.

With the salt bath, your body absorbs all these beneficial minerals through the skin, and you actually feel the wellbeing spread immediately through your body upon entering the water.

If you're looking for a spa getaway in beautiful surroundings, I can definitely recommend you check out Vejlefjord.

Enjoy your evening. 🌙
